questions.
Is this an absorbing fabric or a sound-permeable covering?
This page focuses on the fabric as a decorative, sound-permeable covering. In an acoustic panel, the mineral wool or other backing material normally provides the main sound absorption. The fabric and finished assembly still need to be evaluated together.
Does the airflow video prove acoustic transparency?
It shows air permeability, not a measured sound-transmission result. We recommend testing a sample with your panel or speaker system. Fabric construction, mounting, tension and spacing can all affect the result.
Is every version flame retardant?
No. FR requirements must be specified for the fabric you order. Tell us the required standard and use conditions so we can discuss the suitable option and relevant documentation.
What weights, widths and minimum quantities are available?
The standard fabric weight is 480 GSM (480 g/m²), with customization from 480 to 580 GSM. We can supply widths up to 3 m, and the production MOQ is 50 m. A previous customer's specification called for a 2.1 m width. Send your color reference, required width, quantity and timing for sample arrangements and pricing.
What should I send for a useful quotation?
Include your application, preferred color, target thickness or weight if known, roll width, estimated quantity and any FR or acoustic test requirements. Photos or drawings of the intended assembly are helpful.
